Last Thursday, 15th October, the Vote My Pet judging panel began the intricate task of finding the new face of Advocate - the most complete all in one parasite protection.

Out of our 18,000 Australian pets 48 finalists were selected based on their campaigning success. We sifted through their activity from the past three months with a fine tooth comb searching for evidence of health, vitality, personality, uniqueness, activity, passion - looking for Australia's most complete all in one pet.

10 hours and 34 minutes later, we found them...

As for the finalists who ran such enthusiastic campaigns, I'll be sending you all a congratulatory pack to thank you for making this a wonderful and hugely enjoyable experience.

Vote My Pet will be staying open!

As you know, the Vote My Pet site is remaining open so you can stay in touch with all your fur friends. Very soon we will be announcing some exciting new changes and additions for the future.

Australia’s cats and dogs have been campaigning hard since July in their bid to become the next face of Advocate – the most complete all-in-one parasite protection for Cats and Dogs. The last comments, pictures and votes have been cast and as of 11.59pm on September 30th, our state leaders have been decided.

A huge thanks to every cat and dog who entered the VoteMyPet competition. The campaigns we have seen have been full of passion and commitment – nothing less than we expected from Australia’s Cats and Dogs.

Congratulations to the Top 3 Cats and Dogs in each state. I look forward to reviewing your campaign comments and pictures during the final judging which will take place on October 15th. It is going to be a tough call to decide which Cat and Dog will be given the Number 1 spot and go on to star in a new Advertising Campaign for Advocate.

We are delighted to keep the Vote My Pet website up and running for all our furry competitors to continue the social side of the competition, we know how many great friendships have been formed over the last three months, so do keep in touch with all your VoteMyPet friends through the Advocate Wall and within the group chat rooms.

And don’t forget, all the cats and dogs who have worked so hard on their campaigns deserve the best protection from parasites to keep them happy and healthy. Next time you visit the Vet – ask for Advocate.
